ORGANIZATION OF TOURIST TRAVEL IN THE MARKET OF THE TOURIST INDUSTRY IN THE CONDITIONS OF COVID-PANDEMIC

Abstract

The article analyzes the changes that have taken place in the tourism market due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused an unprecedented health crisis with significant economic impact in many sectors of the world. The tourism sector is one of the most affected, with a significant impact on the number of canceled bookings, the reduction in the number of international trips and changes in the behavior of tourism services. The question of modern aspects of functioning of tourist sphere is investigated. The factors of negative impact of the Covid pandemic on the tourism industry are revealed. The period of self-isolation, restrictions on movement and general concern affected the tourism market. The pandemic has caused the conservation of many accommodation facilities. Players of the tourist market not only respond to the requirements, but create a new philosophy of organization of their activities. The focus is on the study of measures to mitigate the Covid pandemic in tourism. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the organization of tourist trips is substantiated. Possible areas in which the tourism sector will develop in the future are identified, namely: increasing requirements for travel safety, individualization of tourism, widespread use of the latest information technologies in tourism, the use of ideas of the economy of impressions, expanding the geography of tourist routes. Ways to mitigate the negative impact of this crisis on tourism enterprises based on the use of foreign experience are proposed. It is recommended that tourism companies focus primarily on restoring domestic tourism, government companies with the assistance of the government can prepare several long recreational tourist routes (from west to east, from north to south), placing along them shopping malls, accommodation activities, organizing outdoor entertainment, restaurants with discounts, etc. Tourism experts say that after the pandemic, the emotional value of travel will only increase. Tourism will also be positively affected by changes in the labor market: the mass transition to a remote format will restructure the traditional understanding of working days and holidays. Directions, types and purpose of travel will change. Tourists will choose places where epidemiological security is ensured, as well as make more use of smart technologies.
