IMPROVING THE CONSUMER SERVICE PROCESS BY PROMOTING RESTAURANT BUSINESS SERVICES THROUGH THE INTERNET

Abstract

The article determined that modern information systems of enterprises, including restaurants, actively use network technologies that allow the use of paperless data exchange, to unite the efforts of a group of employees to solve any problem (the organization in the network of work groups), to exchange views during the online discussion of any issue in real time (teleconference), online exchange of materials via e-mail, electronic bulletin boards, etc. The methods by which it is possible to promote restaurant services were analyzed, which include: banner advertising, creation of public pages and groups on social networks, mass distribution of e-mails with news and promotions, creation of your own website. It is determined that the expediency of developing an intelligent information system for services in the restaurant business is to implement a single data flow management center, the system replaces significant human resources, in terms of saving time and money the system is more profitable than other similar systems. about the activities of the institution. The selection criteria for online seat reservations using the Stolik.ua service were analyzed in detail. It is determined that one of the main IT innovations for the restaurant business is the use of web and telecommunications solutions, which in turn will improve interaction with consumers. Internet promotion through mobile devices that use SMS, as well as mobile applications are also very popular among restaurateurs. Also, mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms have recently become popular. It was determined that they are used to build a favorable reputation of the restaurant. Due to the growing proportion of people who prefer to receive information through communication programs such as messengers, they have started using chatbots to communicate with their customers. These chatbots work by using artificial intelligence and have different settings. Therefore, the result of the study was to determine the importance of the introduction of Internet technologies, which in turn will allow restaurant businesses to significantly reduce their time to serve guests, as well as to ensure the reservation of tables online.
