STATE AND TRENDS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET ON IT TRADE IN SERVICES
Abstract
The article examines the state of the market of services in the field of information technology over the past few years in the global crisis against the background of the pandemic. The main problems of the industry related to the current state of the world economy are considered. Trends and forecasts of the industry for the next few years are considered. It is established that the developed service sector is one of the manifestations of the development of the post-industrial economy. A significant share of services in the national economy is inherent in developed and developing countries. One of the fastest growing areas of services are tourism and entertainment, transport, finance, medicine and information. Information technology is associated with almost all spheres of human life and affects the conduct of business in many industries. It is revealed that important areas of development of the IT sector remain e-commerce, entertainment and games, solutions related to health monitoring and sports, as well as the development and implementation of artificial intelligence, machine programming, Internet of Things, robotics, development, optimization and support cloud services, modernization of IT systems, application of analytics and Big Data. The connection between the volume of national expenditures on innovation, science and technology and the development of the IT market has been established. The development of the IT sector is inseparable from the informatization of society, investment in innovation, interest and support of the state in the development of this area. The assessments of experts and scientists on the further development of the field of information technology in the international and national market are analyzed. The state, problems and needs of the Ukrainian IT market for today and in the long run are analyzed. The role of the IT market as an important player in the Ukrainian economy is considered. The paper examines the strengths and weaknesses of the product of the Ministry of Digital Transformation "Action.City". Critical points that need further explanation and refinement are highlighted. An assessment of the problems is given and options for their solution are suggested.
